A legal challenge to a decision to end the Northern Premier League season early, which meant Nantwich Town missing out on possible promotion, has failed.
The challenge was put together by South Shields FC, who were top of the NPL by 12 points when the FA ratified a decision to null and void the 2019-20 season below the National League (step 3 to 7).
Nantwich Town supporters are being urged to become members of the 200 Club to help the club through the current economic crisis.
The 200 Club is a way of providing regular financial support for the Weaver Stadium outfit while having a chance to win up to £400 every month.
Most of Nantwich Town’s players are “loyally committed” to remaining at the club, the chairman Jon Gold said today.
The club management is working behind the scenes to prepare a team for any eventual start to a new season.
