Gold medals for green-fingered Reaseheath duo at RHS Tatton

A pair of talented horticulturists from Reaseheath in Nantwich won gold medals for their garden designs at the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park 2024.

Aspiring landscape architect Harry Dean received one of just four Gold medals awarded in the Long Borders category, while Horticulture graduate Callum Corrie took Gold in the RHS Young Designer of the Year competition on the show’s opening day.

An aspiring garden designer will celebrate his community allotment’s 100th birthday in his debut show garden at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park.

Harry Dean, 19, a landscape architecture student at University Centre Reaseheath in Nantwich, will lead a team of 11 fellow vegetable growers from Over Allotments in Winsford on the garden build.

A ‘Cyber Crime’ show garden designed and built by Reaseheath students in Nantwich was sowing the seeds of online safety to visitors at the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park.

The garden, commissioned by Cheshire Police and sponsored by Barclays, highlights the importance of staying safe online and features the Constabulary’s 5Cs (Create, Cover, Confidentiality, Click, Connect) Guide to Online Safety.
