Residents called on councillors to take action after the latest case of travellers illegally setting up camp on Barony Park in Nantwich.

Families on Park View and surrounding streets have complained about anti-social behaviour of travellers, including fires being set alight, indecent exposure, and criminal damage.

South Cheshire and West Cheshire Colleges merge to create 11,000-student FE body

South Cheshire College and West Cheshire College have today formally merged to create a new FE College for Cheshire.

The newly formed college, which will have an annual turnover of £40m with more than 11,000 students and 1,300 apprentices, will retain the existing brands of South Cheshire College and West Cheshire College at its campuses in Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester.

A motorcyclist and pedestrian have been named following a fatal collision on the A525 between Whitchurch and Nantwich.

Walter Stanley Dobrowolski, 67, from Ellerdine, Telford, and Roy Ernest Bundy, 79, from Chester, were pronounced dead at the scene following the incident on Nantwich Road, Broughall.
