Hunt for knife attackers who stabbed man on Nantwich Road

Detectives are hunting a couple after a man was stabbed in the back as he walked down Nantwich Road in Crewe.

The 40-year-old victim had got into an argument with a man and woman in the street when he was then attacked and stabbed by the man, police said.

Directors at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – which runs Leighton Hospital in Crewe – gave the go-ahead to work with an international nursing recruitment agency for around £425,000 at March’s board meeting.
