Fire crews helped rescue a man who fell into a canal at Wrenbury in Nantwich.
The incident happened last night (January 13) at around 9pm of Wrenbury Heath Road.

Chairman of Nantwich disabled charity retires after 24 years
Community stalwart Geoff Parsons MBE is to retire as chairman of the board of trustees for The Wingate Special Children’s Trust at the end of the year.
Geoff has been involved with the charity since 1998 when he joined as a trustee, shortly afterward being appointed chairman of the charity.

Dilapidated traditional brick buildings at a former farm in Aston near Nantwich are to be converted for housing.
Planning permission was previously granted for the re-use of the buildings at The Royals on Whitchurch Road for residential use, but that permission has lapsed.
Gymnastics Club returns to Wingate Centre in Wrenbury
The Wingate Centre in Wrenbury is re-opening its Gymnastics Club.
The centre has been associated with gymnastics for 35 years, and was where Olympic medallist Bryony Paige trained as a youngster.
