Cheshire East Council’s southern planning committee will consider a reserved matters planning application from Wainhomes for the development on land behind Chestnut Avenue.

A charity ball is being planned to help the family of battling youngster Lewis Crossley in his fight against a rare cancer.

Lewis, of Hough, near Shavington, was diagnosed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and has undergone challenging treatments including multiple courses of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.
