A Christmas Tree Festival is taking place in Nantwich this weekend in aid of St Luke’s Hospice.
The festival of 40 twinkling trees will also feature a “Christmas Cinema”.

Local author Kiley Dunbar talked about her latest book ‘The Gingerbread Christmas Village’ at a sold-out evening event at Nantwich Bookshop & Coffee Lounge.
She also spoke about her background, her writing techniques and read extracts from the book.
An exhibition of concrete sculptures by acclaimed Italian artist Mario Loprete is running in the Millennium Gallery at Nantwich Museum until Saturday December 2.
The exhibition, called In Cemento Veritas, retraces Mario’s artistic production of the last five years.

Thousands of people attended the annual Crewe Lions Club ‘Charity Fireworks Display’ at Queens Park in Crewe on Sunday.
The park gates were opened at 5pm, the bonfire (making a return this year) was lit at 6:30pm and the fireworks started at 8pm.
