Willaston Primary Academy will host a Firework Extravaganza on October 20.
The event, between 5.30pm and 7pm, will feature a professional firework display, as well as fairground rides, grill and bar and other entertainment.
Volunteers running Audlem Lass boat service are celebrating national recognition.
The service, which runs between Audlem and Overwater Marina near Nantwich, has been named runner-up in the national Living Waterways Awards.
A fund-raising evening of film entertainment by Crewe Movie Makers will take place at Wistaston Memorial Hall, Church Lane, Wistaston on Friday 13th October 2017 starting at 7:30pm. A swan rescued from the River Weaver in Nantwich after being attacked by a dog, has died.
The bird was rescued by RSPCA and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service officers off Manor Road North on Saturday afternoon (September 30).
The Nantwich Singers are teaming up with local children’s choir SING!@StMary’s and young singers from Brine Leas School for a one-off performance.
They will perform together John Rutter’s “Mass of the Children” at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich on October 14.

The incident happened at the River Weaver off Manor Road North, Nantwich.
