Hundreds of villagers enjoyed the annual Wistaston Community events ‘Fireworks Display’ this week.
The event was organised by the Wistaston Community events team and supported by Wistaston Parish Council.
Sparklers at the ready, the Halloween and Bonfire Night season in and around Nantwich is set to go off with a bang!
So we’ve pulled together a list of the organised events taking place where you can take family and friends to enjoy local fireworks fun.

Thousands of people attended the annual Crewe Lions Club ‘Charity Fireworks Display’ at Queens Park in Crewe on Sunday.
The park gates were opened at 5pm, the bonfire (making a return this year) was lit at 6:30pm and the fireworks started at 8pm.

The event last night (November 4) took place at the Eric Swan Sports Ground/Brittles Pavilion off Church Lane in Wistaston.

A Nantwich charitable organisation has received a cash boost after families flocked to a fundraising night at The Bickerton Poacher pub.
The town’s Lions group, which includes businesspeople and residents, has received a donation of £3,500 from the pub which hosted a bonfire and fireworks event attracting hundreds of people.

Thousands of families packed Queens Park in Crewe to enjoy the annual Crewe and Nantwich Lions Bonfire & Fireworks Extravaganza.
The crowd was treated to a ten-minute display involving several hundred candles, cakes and one-shot fireworks.
The Wistaston Community Council Fireworks Display takes place on Saturday November 2.
The event starts from 6.30pm at the Eric Swan Sports Ground/Brittles Pavilion off Church Lane, behind Wistaston Church Lane Academy.
