Nantwich Museum has announced its 2019/20 Book Group programme.
The Book Group, now in its 22nd year, provides members a chance to read books chosen by the group, discuss their merits and the impact they have had on them as readers.

“A Study of Nantwich”, an exhibition by local artist Christian Turner, has opened in Your Space at Nantwich Museum.
Christian was born in Reading, and moved to Cheshire in 2006 at the age of 13.

The event takes place at Glebe House, on Monks Lane in Acton on Saturday June 29 by permission of Mr and Mrs G Emerton.

A “Castles and Roses” exhibition by textile and art group Threadmill has opened in the Millennium Gallery at Nantwich Museum.
The exhibition, which runs until August 3, was inspired by the busy life around the Shropshire Union Canal that runs past the town.
Nantwich Museum annual plant and book sale on June 8
The annual plant sale organised by Nantwich Museum Trust to boost museum funds will take place on Saturday June 8.
The sale will run between 10.30am and 12.30pm, offering a selection of keenly priced plants.

A book by local authors called “Lost Houses in Nantwich” is making a return – 14 years after it was first published.
Authors Andrew Lamberton and the late Robin Gray originally published the book in 2005 and it has become a local classic “must have” for all those interested in local history.
