Nantwich firm Hibberts LLP have appointed Oliver Lewis in prestigious role of honorary solicitor for the Nantwich Agricultural Society.
His appointment continues the legacy of the late David Young, a former partner at Hibberts, who served the society for many years.
The owners of historic Dorfold Hall in Acton, Nantwich, have put the venue up for sale.
The 400-year-old manor house, which has been home to many weddings and large community events such as Nantwich Show and Spooktacular on its Showground, is now on the market for £10.75 million.

Thousands of people are expected to descend on the Nantwich Show which returns to Reaseheath Old Hall for a second year next Wednesday (July 26).
Organisers Nantwich Agricultural Society say 75% of traders from last year are returning and there will more than 250 trade stands packed into the one-day event.
A number of Nantwich groups and organisations are to receive donations from Nantwich Town Council during 2023-24.
In total, the council is set to make around £71,300 in donations throughout the financial year, a report to go before councillors outlines.

Cheshire East has granted a premises licence for the Dorfold Park Showground, home to the Nantwich Show for decades.
The showground, operating since 1946 and owned by Charles Roundell, has hosted community events such as Spooktacular and charity functions for years.
