Three separate flood warnings for the River Weaver in Nantwich have been issued today by the Environment Agency.
These warnings are for Shrewbridge Lodge, Lakeside View, and Nantwich Riverside.

Flood Warnings in place for River Weaver through Nantwich
Two Flood Warnings along the River Weaver in Nantwich remain in place today after Storm Bert brought heavy rain over the weekend.
The first is at Nantwich Riverside with a warning that land from Beam Bridge to the railway and properties on First Wood Street, Second Wood Street, Welsh Row, Barker Street, Holland Walk and Weaver Bank are all at risk.

Nantwich willow weaver Cath stars on BBC TV show
Nantwich-based willow weaver Cath Kelly brought a range of magical and mythical creatures to TV screens when she appeared on BBC1’s new series, Make it at Market.
Cath shared some of her creative willow-woven designs, from a life-size elfin musical band to dancing fairies, hares, unicorns and even a full sized rearing horse.
