Dear Editor,
Last year was turbulent for most of us, but a lucrative one for supermarkets.
Sainsbury’s has already reported a 9.3 per cent rise in sales over Christmas and Morrisons is not far behind with an 8.5 per cent increase in what is expected to be a bumper trading period for supermarkets.
Dear Editor,
Last August, I wrote a letter (Wistaston resident fearful of perilous path) to Nantwich News raising my concerns for the safety of walkers on the busy Wistaston Green Road in Wistaston, due to its degraded road surface and the obstructions and narrowing of the path adjacent to the Bellway ‘Kingfisher Reach’ housing development construction site.
Dear Editor,
Sadly, we are in lock down again.
This is a worry to all of us, but it is extremely stressful to those parents with school age children and all those who work so hard to educate and support them in our schools.
Weather forecasters say more snow showers could hit South Cheshire over the next few days.
Local photographers like Jonathan White have been sending in these beautiful winter images, capturing the snow at various locations.
These days, technology has already taken over the world.
In this generation, where everything is reachable and accessible through technology, some people still don’t know how to access them easily.
Computers are essential to everyone in today’s lives.
People rely heavily on them because they help someone do many things, including documenting, editing photos, planning lectures, reading novels, playing esports, etc.
The Joey the Swan recreation ground in Wistaston is named after an adult male cob swan that lived there in the 1930s.
In the 1930s a pair of swans – a cob and a pen – took up permanent residence on a pond or ‘stew’, opposite the Wistaston Hall.
Dear Editor,
The PCR Covid test is totally useless.
It throws up an amazing 93% FALSE positive rate. This means that 93% of the Covid deaths are not Covid deaths at all.
In today’s digital generation, it’s crucial to know how PDF files and documents work.
From business owners to students, PDF files are more conveniently used than books and journals.
Dear Editor,
As we reflect on 2020, we’ll all be glad to see the back of a year dominated by Covid restrictions, masks and being unable to shake hands, sit next to each other, or to simply hug those we love and care about.
Christmas is coming!
As the holiday is nearing, you’re probably in a panic because you’re not sure what to get your special man.
Dear Editor,
It was a wonderful feeling being part of the Cheshire East Labour/Independent administration on Wednesday 16th December after voting in favour of a 20’s Plenty in 2020 motion to reduce speed limits on Cheshire East roads where people live and work, on housing developments, town and village centres.
