cyclist has been seriously injured after a collision with a milk tanker on the A529 in Stapeley near Nantwich.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to the scene on Audlem Road.
Fire chiefs are probing a blaze which has badly damaged a house in Shavington.
The incident happened on Sable Road at around 9pm last night (January 2).
Heavy rainfall for the past 24 hours from Storm Henk has caused localised flooding across South Cheshire.
A number of busy routes have been affected, including this flooding on A529 between Nantwich and Audlem.
The Wingate Special Children’s Trust based near Nantwich has received a £7,520 donation from Morrisons Foundation.

Wistaston Community Council’s annual ‘Christmas Concert’ brought festive cheer to villagers.
The concert, at St Mary’s Church Hall on Church Lane in Wistaston, featured the Wells Green Choir led by Myra Wood, The Swinging Woodpeckers and Wistaston Church Lane Academy Choir.
