A regular Nantwich “Parkrun” event on the Barony could be a few strides closer after councillors backed the idea amid the park’s “masterplan” consultation.
The “Barony Masterplan” includes a running/walking track around the perimeter of the park.

Cheshire East Council, Nantwich Town Council, the Friends of the Barony and Nantwich in Bloom have developed the “vision” for future improvements to the community space.

According to residents, travellers broke through the new park perimeter fencing and gained access to the park via Middlewich Road earlier this evening (March 29).
