Compered by Ste Johnston, Take a Bow, A Lyceum Legacy showcased the talent from the Lyceum Theatre Creative groups on Sunday afternoon.
The performers were made up from the Lyceum Youth Theatre, ages 5 – 18, Lyceum Lites, an inclusive theatre project for adults with neurodiversity and learning disabilities and the Lyceum Theatre Choir.
Tarporley based women’s choir Decibellas has hit a high note with its fundraising over the past 12 months.
The choir has raised thousands of pounds and dished out grants to several local mental health charities to support their work with children.

Wistaston Community Council’s annual ‘Christmas Concert’ brought festive cheer to villagers.
The concert, at St Mary’s Church Hall on Church Lane in Wistaston, featured the Wells Green Choir led by Myra Wood, The Swinging Woodpeckers and Wistaston Church Lane Academy Choir.

Local choir The Groves Singers will perform a special re-telling of the Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol” on Saturday December 16 at St Mary’s Church in Acton.
The well-known story written by Charles Dickens will be told in song, interwoven with familiar old carols.

Liv, 30, a singer and singing teacher in the county, will support Marcus Williams, musical director with Decibellas since 2016.

A South Cheshire singer has teamed up with a Ukrainian choir to release a new fundraising “A Million Flags” single.
Local jazz singer Megan Lee and acclaimed Ukrainian ladies choir Czervoni Maky came together inspired by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Tarporley-based choir Decibellas has dished out more than £2,000 to local causes it raised from concerts held in 2022 at St Boniface Church in Bunbury.
Most of the proceeds have been awarded to local charities through small grants, it says.
