Nantwich Methodist Church is full steam ahead with its fundraising thanks to weekly miniature railway events.
And it’s now clocked up more than £15,000 for charity in a decade of staging the live steam train journeys at its Hospital Street base.
These cute otter cubs are undergoing specialist care at RSPCA Stapeley Grange in Nantwich after being orphaned when rivers overflowed in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.
One of the juvenile otters arrived at RSPCA Stapeley Grange along with her sibling last month after they were both rescued near the River Witham at Grantham in Lincolnshire.
Pupils and parents at Millfields Primary School in Nantwich have helped boost the town’s Food Bank stocks with Harvest donations.
Generous families amazed staff at the school with the volume of food and drink brought in to support the charity.

The idea of a commemorative garden was originally suggested by branch member Peter Epton and was supported by the other members.
