A crash in Baddiley, Nantwich has left a 63-year-old driver with serious injuries.
The incident happened on Baddiley Lane and involved two vehicles – a black Land Rover Defender and white Vauxhall combo van.
Officers investigating the death of Nantwich teenager Jonty Evans are appealing for further information and CCTV footage as the inquiry continues.
Jonty, 16, was reported missing by his family on Saturday 31 August.

Cash-strapped Cheshire East Council is having to cough up tens of thousands of pounds to recruitment agencies and interim staff because it is haemorrhaging top bosses.

Cheshire East Council is to set up a housing fund so registered providers can buy open market properties to rent out as social homes.
The cash will come mainly from developer S106 contributions which were given for off-site affordable housing.

Cheshire East Council is facing a predicted overspend of £27 million by the end of the financial year because its children’s and adults’ services are failing to operate within budget.
A report to the finance sub-committee revealed the adults and health committee is forecast to be overspent by £20m at the end of March next year.
