Sportspeople young and old across Crewe and Nantwich have made the shortlist for the Everybody Awards 2021.
Nominees this year include people from motorsport, rugby, running, snowboarding, swimming, netball, football, gymnastics and more.
Nantwich CC have retained their Phoenix 15 Finals Day crown after another keenly contested cricket tournament.
The finals day, which was played at Nantwich CC’s ground off Whitehouse Lane, had been re-scheduled to Sunday after a wash out of the original day in early August.

Nantwich Town fell to their first defeat of the season with a 2-0 loss to Whitby Town in North Yorkshire.

Nantwich Town have received more backing from local businesses, with Applewood Independent sponsoring the club’s 3G Arena.
It will now become known as the “Applewood Arena” where first team players train and community and children’s football sessions are held.
Tarporley racing driver Tom Oliphant was left frustrated as luck deserted him in the British Touring Car Championship at Knockhill.
