Inaugural 10 kilometre road race to be held in Nantwich

The inaugural Nantwich 10k Road Race will take place on Sunday March 20.
The race has been organised by Mike Stevens, Founder of Nantwich Running Club.

It is led by Premier League and Everton star Asmir Begovic and will enable young goalkeepers across South Cheshire, to receive expert and dedicated goalkeeper coaching overseen by Liam Stoneley.

Crewe and Nantwich RUFC U17s overcame tough opposition in Heaton Moor from Stockport to secure a 24-15 victory at the Vagrants.
Starting well from the kick-off, Crewe worked hard in attack to keep territory and possession.

The Lions consolidated their position at the top of the Crewe Regional Premier Division with a 1-4 victory at Willaston White Star.
After a well matched first 45 minutes, the visitors led 0-1 at half time.

Midfielder David Webb and goalkeeper Cameron Terry have both left Nantwich Town, the club has confirmed.
Webb joined The Dabbers in the summer of 2019 after a successful trial with the club.

Alex Fletcher dragged an early effort wide while off balance for Stafford, Joe Cuff managing to get in behind Nantwich’s Caspar Hughes in a less familiar right wing back position.
