Police believe an elderly woman in Wistaston was being exploited by drug users to host a drugs den at her home.
Officers said they uncovered the drug den in Wistaston this week after responding to reports of suspicious activity in the area.
Activities have been organised at St Mary’s Church in Acton on January 25 during the annual ‘Holly Holy Day’ Battle of Nantwich celebrations.
The church will be open from 9am until 11.30am serving hot drinks and buttered toast with the opportunity to go up the Church’s Tower.

Residents in parts of rural South Cheshire hit by repeat flooding since October fear they are being ignored by Cheshire East Council.
