The event in the village’s Memorial Hall was organised by the Crewe & Nantwich Cancer Research UK Group.

The annual ‘Holly Fair’ in Wistaston has helped raise almost £2,000 for Wells Green Methodist Church.
The fair took place at the church on Brookland Avenue for the first time since 2019 due to the pandemic.
The 66th “Cancer Research UK Xmas Fair” takes place at Wistaston Memorial Hall on Church Lane on Saturday November 19 from 10am to 3pm.
Children will be able to visit Father Christmas (£4 per child) and receive a present from him.

Members of Wistaston Swans WI have hand-painted 350 pebbles to commemorate Poppy Day.
The pebbles are now on display on the low black ledge at the front and both sides of Wistaston Memorial Hall on Church Lane.
