Studio Nantwich is to host a fundraising concert in aid of Christie Charity during the annual Nantwich Jazz, Blues & Music Festival.
The four-day festival, which attracts tens of thousands of music revellers, returns from April 17-21.

Nantwich is set to host the 40th annual South Cheshire Militaire ‘Universal Model Show’.
The popular show takes place on Sunday February 23 from 10am to 5pm at Malbank School & Sixth Form College on Welsh Row.
Nantwich Players amateur drama group have unveiled plans for their 2025-26 season of productions.

Thousands of people witnessed the 52nd annual Battle of Nantwich ‘Holly Holy Day’ English Civil War re-enactment in glorious winter sunshine.
Activities took place during the day at St Mary’s Acton, St Mary’s Nantwich, Nantwich Museum, Pillory Street pillory, and the town square.
A “Dayclubbing event” at Studio Nantwich on Castle Street on March 1 has already sold out, organisers said.
But there are now plans to repeat the event on Saturday April 5.
Nantwich Players are about to get the show on the road – with two new productions in the next two months.
First up is their performance of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time”.
Big names in music are heading to Nantwich to celebrate the town’s first ever involvement in the UK’s Independent Venue Week.
The line up for the six-night event includes a Mercury Music Prize nominee, a rising hip-hop star who has graced Glastonbury and a selection of the best new and rising artists locally.
Quartet Egerton Strings will back in Nantwich on February 1 to perform a “Best of the 70s” candlelight concert in St Mary’s Church.
The concert will feature the music of many 70s legends including Stevie Wonder, Elton John, and The Carpenters.

The town is gearing up for the annual “Battle of Nantwich” Holly Holy Day event which takes place on Saturday January 25.
The Sealed Knot troops will gather to re-enact the original battle which took place in 1644, marking the end of the siege of the town during the English Civil War.

The national initiative shines a spotlight on independent music venues and artists who keep them alive, with Nantwich joining the line-up of participating towns.
Nantwich Museum is planning an exhibition to commemorate the 80th anniversary of both VE Day on May 8 and VJ Day on August 15.
And they have appealed for members of the public to help them!
“The Royal Rumble” exhibition opened today (January 7) at Nantwich Museum and runs until Saturday February 8.
The exhibition showcases the English Civil War collections of the Grosvenor Museum, Chester.
