BMXers gathered for breakfast at Crewe Truck Stop Café off Weston Road, near Crewe railway station, for the annual ‘Crewe and Cheshire old school ride out’ event, organised by the ‘Crewe and Cheshire old school BMX club’.

A special open day of miniature-gauge train rides at the Peacock Railway in Nantwich has raised vital funds for a similar club in need of help.

The Bob Hope Table Tennis Academy based in Nantwich has officially opened.
The opening was part of an all day table tennis festival held at the club’s purpose built facility on London Road at the Elim Church site.

The next popular ‘Weekend runaways meet’ car event at The Sydney Arms pub in Crewe is scheduled to take place on March 26.
The meets are free entry to all and open to owners of classic and American cars, vans, trucks, and motorbikes.
Nantwich Museum have launched five Spring talks which will all take place in the Museum’s Millennium Gallery at the Pillory Street venue.
The first talk is on Thursday March 16 at 7pm, titled ‘Civil War coin hoards in Cheshire’ by Keith Lawrence.
Rehearsals are in full swing for Nantwich Choral Society’s spring concert marking a milestone anniversary for the popular singing group.
It is 50 years since the Society formed as a local authority evening class and down the decades its concerts have been a highlight on the town’s social calendar.

It will take place at Malbank School & Sixth Form College on Welsh Row on February 26.
