Bill Heath (WJTC Chairman) compered the event and presented the trophies to the winners.

Cheshire East’s southern planning committee gave the go-ahead for the scheme despite hearing there would be some incursion into the Green Gap.

Councillors have given the go ahead for a former farmhouse in Audlem to be used as a wedding venue despite claims the noise will impact on residents including those in a nearby care home.

The application for the change of use of The Parkes on Monks Lane in Audlem had been deferred in February so a noise assessment could be submitted.

An exceptional college mentor from Nantwich has been recognised at a glittering awards night to celebrate dyslexic people and those who support them.

Katie Frimston, who works at Reaseheath College in Nantwich as a teaching and learning support mentor, received the Excellent Educator trophy at the national Dyslexia Awards on September 24.
