According to the Crewe 2022 Crime Scorecard:
Crewe is the most dangerous major town in Cheshire. Crime in Crewe is 48% higher than the regional crime rate in the North West. And crime in Crewe is 22% higher than the national crime rate.
With increasing numbers of streaming platforms and a wealth of top content available, it’s no surprise that more of us are opting for a quiet night in.
But which television shows have stood out the most so far this year?

They say plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery, so it is pleasing to see the local Conservatives seeking to take credit for the achievements of the Labour-led Cheshire East Council.
The Nantwich Dabbers Folk Club is appealing for new members to join as it emerges from the Covid pandemic.
The club was founded in the lounge of the now demolished Millfield’s pub in 1987, and quickly grew into an active folk club involving top artists from across the country.

Cheshire East Council has 220 job vacancies – nearly 7.5% of its posts unfilled.
The council declined to comment on what impact the vacancies are having on services.
Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) which runs Leighton Hospital has been awarded the Baby Friendly Award.
It is the first health care facility in Cheshire and Merseyside to gain recognition from the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) Baby Friendly Initiative.

Nantwich Town Wolves (visually impaired) and Nantwich Town PAN (pan-disability team) each played a friendly match against England Amputee Football Association.
The matches took place at The Complex at Reaseheath College on a 4G synthetic surface pitch.

The residential and recreation centre provides a facility for children and young people with special educational needs and complex disabilities.
