A fundraising marathon vintage tractor ploughathon took place at Aston, near Wrenbury, has helped raise a huge £12,000 for charity.

The “3 Men and a Furrow” 24-hour vintage tractor ploughathon involved three friends – Ian Bulkeley, Fred Mottram and Gary Walker.

Sixty-two Ukrainian refugees are now living in Cheshire East with residents who have welcomed them into their homes and another 316 have applied for visas.
