Eight by Ella Hickson is a thought-provoking production which consists of eight monologues, delivered by different characters and was written to offer a ‘state-of-the-nation group portrait of a generation which grew up amidst a consumerist boom.’

Nantwich nightclub gets go ahead to open until 4.30am

Nantwich nightclub The Studio has been given permission to extend its opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays to 4.30am despite objections from some nearby residents.
The Studio, on Castle Street, currently has permission to open until 3.30am Monday to Saturday and until 2.30am on Sundays.
REVIEW: Nantwich Players Studio production “The White Bike”

Nantwich Players Studio presented The White Bike by Tamara von Werthern this weekend.
Directed by Holly Jones, this one act play is based on the true story of Eilidh Cairns, a young female cyclist who was killed by a lorry in 2009, and the first person to have a white bike erected in their memory.

Haydn Jones centenary exhibition opens at Nantwich Museum
“The Street is my Studio” exhibition celebrating the centenary of local artist J. Haydn Jones (1923-2023), has opened at Nantwich Museum.
It is being staged in the Community Gallery of the Pillory Street venue and will run until Saturday 11 November.
