Thousands of people young and old packed Nantwich town square to enjoy the annual Christmas Lights Switch On event.
Organised by Nantwich Town Council, the switch on involved several hours of entertainment before VIP youngsters took to the stage to turn on the festive lights.
Thousands of people gathered at services across South Cheshire on Remembrance Sunday to pay their respects to those who gave their lives and fought in wars.
Nantwich and Crewe held large parades and services, while smaller services were held at villages across the area.
Nantwich Town Council and British Legion will be staging a Remembrance Service in Nantwich Town Centre this Sunday, November 10.
The service will be led by Rev. Dr Mark Hart, of St Mary’s Church in Nantwich.
