Wistaston in Bloom have won the Gold Award in the Town Category at the ‘Britain in Bloom’ (North West) 2019 awards for the second year in succession.
They received their certificate at a ceremony at the Southport Convention Centre.

Wistaston Scout Group (35th South West Cheshire) produced a fitting tribute to all those who lost their lives in war and conflict.

Staff, trustees and volunteers at Tarporley War Memorial Hospital in Cheshire welcomed Sophie, Countess of Wessex, to mark its 100th anniversary.
The hospital first opened in a former residential property on Park Road, Tarporley in 1919 as a memorial to those who died in the First World War.
