Dawn Nelson fears that in a life critical situation, the route to Leighton Hospital is too long and slow, and is confusing for many drivers.

Wistaston woman Anne Garner joined friends to complete the “Pink Ribbon Walk” in Derbyshire to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Now.

Ann, a learning mentor at Cheshire College – South & West,  participated in the event at Chatsworth House a year after the original event was postponed due to the pandemic.

A ‘Community Day’ takes place this Sunday July 3 between 1.30pm-4.30pm at Wistaston Memorial Hall on Church Lane.

The indoor event will feature a tombola, refreshments, charity stalls, cakes, plants, craft stall and lots more and is organised by Wistaston Community Council.
