Nantwich Concert Band are to perform their annual Christmas Concert in the town on December 10.
It will take place in Nantwich Civic Hall at starts at 2.30pm.

The Nantwich Singers are to stage their Christmas Concert at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich.
The concert, called ‘O Nata Lux’, will take place at 3pm on Sunday December 10.
Liv Westhead has been appointed the first ever assistant musical director for Cheshire upper voices choir, Decibellas.
Liv, 30, a singer and singing teacher in the county, will support Marcus Williams, musical director with Decibellas since 2016.

The family of Barbara Warrington, one of Seahorse Swimming Club’s founder members, visited Crewe Lifestyle Centre to present a cheque to the club in her memory.
Barbara, who died in August, volunteered at Seahorse from 1956 until 2001, where she spent most of her time in the role of chief instructor.

Peacock Railway volunteers are to commemorate the 180th anniversary of the Grand Junction Railway Engineering Works moving from Edge Hill to Crewe.
When the Grand Junction Railway company opened its works there in 1843, Crewe was a village with a few hundred residents.
