Nantwich Concert Band (NCB) has launched two new music groups for young musicians, starting this May.
NCB regularly hosts concerts in local venues, performing in the town square and providing entertainment at events such as Nantwich Food Festival.

The inaugural ‘Nantwich 10k Road Race’ will take place this Sunday March 20.
The race, organised by Mike Stevens, Founder of Nantwich Running Club, will get underway at around 9.30am and runners will race around a 10km (6.2 miles) loop on closed roads.

The club was launched yesterday (March 8) at Love Lane in Nantwich 7-9pm, on International Women’s Day.

Nantwich & District Branch of the Royal British Legion are engaging with rising numbers of ex-service personnel through their Veterans Breakfast Club.

An ‘Off the rails car meet’ will take place on Sunday February 27 at the Crewe Heritage Centre on Vernon Way.
Entry is free and the meet could potentially feature more than 75 classic European and American cars, vans, trucks, and motorbikes.
Shavington Village Festival Committee are to stage their 43rd annual pantomime with “Robinson Crusoe and The Adventures of Skull Island”.
The group return to entertain after two years away from the stage due to the pandemic.

The original event was planned for 2020 at Sainsbury’s in Whitchurch and was re-arranged for February 18-19 2022.
Nantwich Choral Society ended 2021 on a high with its first Family Carol Service for two years and a new President at the helm.
The choristers joined with children from Nantwich Young Voices to perform a mixture of music old and new against the majestic backdrop of St Mary’s Church where the Society’s concerts have been enjoyed for nearly 50 years.

Local scouts are helping to run a Christmas tree collection and recycling scheme.
The scheme run by the 1st South West Cheshire Scout Group (The Andrews) in Crewe will raise money in aid of local Scouts, to support local children between 6-14 to gain skills for life.

TheFunkyChoir has been entertaining people across South Cheshire at care homes and a crafts and antiques centres during December.
The choir performed twice at Dagfields Crafts & Antiques in Heathfield near Nantwich.
