Organisers of the Nantwich Food Festival have landed a new sponsor for next month-s three-day event.
Crewe-based The Boulton Group have become a “Gold Festival Sponsor” of the town centre festival which will be held September 2-4.
Summer Holiday workshops will run at Nantwich Museum on four separate days in August. The drop-in workshops are inspired by the Pillory Street venue’s new “A Spectacle of Sport” exhibition and will take place on August 10, 11, 17 and 18. A fund-raising ‘Charity Weekender’ Northern Soul music & dance event will take place August 13-14.
It will run from 3.30pm-1am on Saturday and 1pm-10.30pm on Sunday at Nantwich Town Football Club.

Thousands of people packed in to Audlem yesterday to enjoy the 23rd annual ‘Audlem Festival of Transport’.
The day began with a spectacular parade of more than 250 cars, commercial vehicles, tractors and motorcycles.

A ‘Steam & Vintage Gathering’ took place at the Peacock Railway, raising vital funds for the organisers.

St Luke’s Hospice will be holding its “brightest event of the year” in Nantwich this September with their first ever “Colour Rush”.
The Colour Rush is a “colourful” twist on a family day out taking place in the parkland of Dorfold Hall, Nantwich, on Sunday September 18.

Shavington Drama Group opened their latest production of The Hollow by Agatha Christie at The Players Theatre in Nantwich last night (July 19).
Directed by Adam Goode, The Hollow is a classic whodunit mystery which will keep you guessing until the very end.
Voting has opened for this year’s Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards.
The awards, which make a return after Covid-enforced break, celebrate the best restaurants, pubs, producers, and shops in Cheshire as voted by the public.
