Local live music promoters Applestump Records and Moth Events are set to bring the unique soundscape to Nantwich in 2025.

Nantwich Museum took top honours at last night’s South Cheshire Chamber’s 27th annual awards, scooping the Ambassador of the Year category.

There were loud cheers for the popular Pillory Street museum as it carried off the gong given to the business or organisation that puts the area on the map for excellence.

Prisoner of War exhibition opens at Nantwich Museum

An exhibition telling the story of prisoners of war in World War II with reference to those held in local camps and hostels has opened at Nantwich Museum.

There were 12 base camps in Cheshire during the war with numerous hostels housing low security “non-officer rank” men obliged to fight but who found themselves working in agriculture, forestry and War Department work.
