Plans have been submitted for a new indoor boxing club and gym on the site of the former Crewe Youth Centre which burned down in 2014.
The proposal is to create a new home for South Cheshire Amateur Boxing Club (SCABC), a registered charity which has worked with young people in Crewe for more than 11 years.
Everybody Health and Leisure in Cheshire East is one of 10 trusts across the country chosen to deliver a new Sport England volunteering programme.
It’s part of phase 2 of the Active Kindness project, which is being spearheaded by Community Leisure UK (CLUK) and the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO).
