Hundreds of people enjoyed the first public running day of 2025 at the popular Peacock Railway in Willaston.
The miniature-gauge railway, behind The Peacock Inn on Crewe Road, is run by the South Cheshire Model Engineering Society.

Nantwich Rotary has presented a Certificate of Appreciation to local firm Rogers Masonry.
The firm’s directors Robin Barrett and Adrian Reynolds created a plaque which they donated to the rotary club
Railway enthusiasts and families are in for a treat as The Peacock Railway in Nantwich is set to stage its 2025 season opener.

Music lovers are invited to a spectacular ‘Night at the Movies’ as Acton Operatic Society presents a special fundraising concert.
The ‘Songs from the Silver Screen’ concert will be held at St Mary’s Church in Acton on Saturday 29th March from 7.30pm.
Nantwich Players are to stage an exclusive “Members’ Night” featuring the world premiere of the English version of HeLa, a new play by Belgian author Aliénor Debrocq.
The special rehearsed reading will take place on Tuesday March 18, directed by Charlie Gobbett and Sharon Dutton.

Model-making enthusiasts and families from across the region gathered in Nantwich for the 40th annual Universal Model Show.
The show, hosted at Malbank School & Sixth Form College, was organised by the South Cheshire Military Modelling Club.
A Photographic Exhibition featuring work by members of Nantwich Camera Club has opened at Nantwich Museum running until Saturday May 3.
It marks a return of the club to the museum with a popular exhibition of inspiring subjects.
