The Conservatives are fielding the most candidates in the election for Cheshire East Council and are fighting for 81 of the 82 seats up for grabs.
The Tories had control of Cheshire East from 2009, when the council was formed, until 2019 when they lost overall control – although they still remain the largest party.
Independents and local parties have always fielded a large number of candidates in the Cheshire East Council elections over the years – and 2023 is no different.
For the last four years the Independent Group has jointly run Cheshire East with Labour, after the council went to no overall control in 2019.

The Liberal Democrats have 30 candidates standing in the election for Cheshire East Council.
At present the Lib Dems are the national party with the fewest councillors on the borough council, with just four, and will be hoping to boost that number this time round.

The Green Party has put up 34 candidates for the Cheshire East Council election.
The party has never won a seat on the borough council and is hoping it can change that this time round.
As people age, their skin undergoes key changes, and the most significant change is the thinning of the epidermis of the skin, a decrease in collagen production, and decreased elasticity.
Unfortunately, all these changes bring about results that many of us are not too keen about but are inevitable as we age: sagging skin, fine lines, and wrinkles.

I am writing to speak about youth services, and my support for Anna Burton, the Labour & Co-operative candidate for Nantwich North in the upcoming local elections.
As a young person living in Nantwich, I have a personal experience of what youth services are like here.
A 20-year-old local man has been arrested in relation to a serious assault in Nantwich, Cheshire Police have confirmed.

Luke Robinson’s sparkling start to the Cheshire County Cricket League season continued as he guided Nantwich to an emphatic victory over old rivals Chester Boughton Hall.

Nantwich Pirates bounced back from their Crewe FA Sunday Vase 1-0 defeat to C & N UTD by registering a thumping league win over Cheshire Cat.
The Pirates won 6-1 at Cheshire Cat to maintain a challenge to the Division One leaders Faddiley.
