The firm behind surface dressing works on the A500 Shavington Bypass has today apologised after months of complaints from drivers.
Eurovia EST said investigations are continuing and all remedial works would be paid for by contractors.

A plan to build 20 homes on land close to the A500 Shavington Bypass have been recommended for approval.
The site, next to the historic Crotia Mill Farm off David Whitby Way, is part of a wider outline planning permission for a mixed use residential and commercial development, including up to 325 homes, which was approved in December 2016.
The Reaseheath bypass “road to nowhere” looks finally set to open in summer 2025, the council has confirmed today.
The A51 bypass road was originally due to open back in February 2022 but has been dogged with delays and disputes ever since.
A car burst into flames on the busy A500 Shavington Bypass near Nantwich, forcing it to close.

Cheshire East paid nearly £50,000 to hire rooms at Crewe Hall Hotel for a two-week public inquiry for the Middlewich Bypass – including £1,980 for lunch for the planning inspector and legal experts.
The figures were revealed at a meeting of the audit and governance committee, leaving some councillors questioning why one of the council’s own buildings were not used.

It’s ridiculous that no-one seems to be able to up-date residents as to when the new Reaseheath/Kingsbourne Estate A51 by-pass will open.
A Wistaston man who pleaded guilty to causing a fatal collision on the A534 Haslington Bypass has been sentenced.
Matthew Ellson pleaded guilty to death by careless driving in December and was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for 24 months.
