St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice are looking for local businesses and community groups to wear their festive knitwear for Hospice care as part of Christmas Jumper Day.
Workplaces are encouraged to ‘Step into Christmas’ on Thursday December 12 by letting their staff wear their favourite seasonal jumpers.
Richmond Village in Nantwich is once again laying on a FREE Christmas lunch for people in the community looking for companionship during the festive season.

Thousands of people packed into Nantwich town square last night to enjoy the annual ‘Nantwich Christmas Light Switch-On’.
Presenters from local community radio station The Cat compered the event, which was organised by Nantwich Town Council.
The Nantwich Singers will be giving their Christmas Concert “The Ivy and the Holly?” in St Mary’s Church in Nantwich on December 15.
Starting at 3pm, the concert will help put residents in a festive mood with new twists on old favourites, carols to join in with, poetry, and some new classics.

A Stapeley artist is to stage special Christmas Calligraphy workshops as part of her INKspire business.

A Christmas album produced by independent musicians from South Cheshire has raised £347.21 for Looking After The Homeless (LATH).
The artists – known collectively as ‘The Electric Sprout Foundation’ – each wrote and recorded an original family-friendly festive track for the 12-track album, titled ‘Snow Business’.
Cheshire Police arrested 1,862 people across the county as part of an operation to keep people safe during the Christmas period.
Operation Jingles, which ran from December 1, included 229 arrests made in the Crewe and Nantwich divisional area – the third highest.

More than 70 members of Nantwich Running Club took part in their annual ‘Christmas lights run’.
The runners all met at The Woodside pub in Wistaston and seven groups ran a distance of either 3 miles, 4.5 miles or 6 miles.
