A fund-raising ‘Spring Evening Concert’ will take place on May 13 at St Mary’s Church in Acton, near Nantwich.
The concert will feature the highly acclaimed Acton Operatic Society who will perform the best show music from ‘Phantom of the Opera’ to ‘Sister Act’ and an array of hits in between.

A Christmas concert featuring The Funky Choir at St Mary’s Church on Monks Lane in Acton has helped raise vital funds for charity.
The Funky Choir, which formed in 2010 in Nantwich, performed a mixture of pop, jazz, gospel, rock and rhythm and blues music in the first half.
Music-lovers flocked to an autumn concert marking the start of a year of celebration for Nantwich Choral Society.
They packed St Mary’s Church in Nantwich for an evening of classical music against the 14th century backdrop.

A “The Proms Acton” fund-raising concert at St Mary’s Church in Acton has helped raise thousands of pounds for Royal British Legion.
The outside of the church was bedecked with wood and crocheted poppies and poppy garlands.
A ‘The Proms Acton’ fund-raising concert will take place on Sunday November 13 at St Mary’s Church on Monks Lane in Acton.
A medley of rousing music will be performed by the highly acclaimed Nantwich Concert Band and will feature talented soprano Jessica Thayer.
A concert in memory of John White took place at Wistaston Memorial Hall.
The concert, organised by Diane Edge-Robinson (Chair of Wistaston Memorial Hall), featured Crewe Concert Band.
Nantwich Choral Society is planning a 50th anniversary programme of concerts after ending the season on a high with a sell-out concert at St Mary’s Church.
The choir was in fine voice for Gioachino Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, an upbeat piece penned by the Italian composer in 1863 but never heard in his lifetime because he could not get permission to use female singers in church.
