Nantwich town centre will host a family artisan market on the town square tomorrow (Saturday May 4) between 9am-3pm.

The Nantwich Christmas Lights Switch-On is set to take place on Friday November 18, council bosses have confirmed.
Town Council staff have been busy preparing for the traditional start to the festive season.

The walk-in Mobile Health Bus, organised by Well Pharmacy, will be based on Nantwich Town Square in front of the church on October 13, 15 and 15 from 9am- to 5.30pm each day.
Councillors have backed plans to axe around 10 externally run Antique and Artisan markets in Nantwich town centre.
The proposal would see the council stage more live music and children’s activities on the square in their place.

A beacon was lit on Nantwich town square last night (June 2) as part of Nantwich’s celebrations to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Nantwich beacon was one of more than 2,022 beacons that were lit throughout the United Kingdom and overseas to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Celebrations will be staged across Nantwich to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next week.
It will begin with Nantwich taking part in the lighting of the Queen’s Beacons, where thousands of beacons are being lit nationwide to celebrate this special occasion.
