A damning Ofsted report has rated Cheshire East Council’s children’s services “inadequate” and “requiring improvement” across a range of problems.
The report follows an inspection carried out between February 26 and March 8 this year.

Owner of The Crescent Garage John ‘Jack’ Field has died suddenly at home aged 91.
Jack was a familiar figure to many in Nantwich, running the Crescent Garage on The Crescent off Beam Street for over 50 years.

They will be at the benches on the town square between 11am-2pm throughout Dementia Awareness Week between May 13-17.
