Wych Malbank Nantwich Rotary Group is to host a charity fundraising Jubilee Musical Extravaganza on May 14.
The event will feature The Bluebirds, a group of ladies who have appeared on Channel 5 with Jane McDonald.

Wybunbury Fig Pie Wakes returns to the village of Wybunbury on Saturday June 11 after a three-year break due to the pandemic.
The family friendly event is organised primarily by the Wybunbury Tower Preservation Trust and opens at 1pm with the pie rolling from 3pm.
Organisers of the new Dorfold Hall Food and Drink Festival in July have announced some of the live music acts to perform.
The event, on July 23-24, will take place on the site where Nantwich Show was staged for many years before it.
Nantwich Food Festival is holding the first of its Volunteer evenings on April 5.
Organisers are appealing for new volunteers to attend and hear more about helping at this year’s event in September.

The 41st Marbury Merry Days two-day traditional country fair returns on May 14-15 after a three-year gap due to the pandemic.
Gates open at 12.30pm and the fair takes places in the field next to St Michael’s All Angels Parish Church and Marbury Big Mere.

The inaugural Nantwich 10k Road Race was a massive hit with organisers and participants.
The race took 250 participants on a 10 kilometre (6.2 miles) loop on closed roads, starting on Waterlode opposite Nantwich Town Football Club.
A “Not Parkrun” is set to take place on Barony Park in Nantwich tomorrow (Saturday March 19).
Organiser Paul McIntyre says the run will be on surrounding public paths from 9am where people will be encouraged to independently run or walk three miles.

Applestump Records, on Barker Street, will participate in the annual national day on April 23.

The inaugural ‘Nantwich 10k Road Race’ will take place this Sunday March 20.
The race, organised by Mike Stevens, Founder of Nantwich Running Club, will get underway at around 9.30am and runners will race around a 10km (6.2 miles) loop on closed roads.
