Plans to use a rural outbuilding near Nantwich for pet and horse cremations have been recommended for approval.
But the application, which includes two incinerators at the rural building at Doddington Mill House, off Mill Lane in Doddington, has been “called in” by local councillor Janet Clowes.

Thousands of people descended on Audlem to enjoy the 24th annual Audlem Festival of Transport on Sunday.

Library opening hours will be reduced across Cheshire East as the council looks to save money.
But initial plans to close them for at least a day and half during the week have been revised following a backlash from the public during the consultation period.

Food waste from Cheshire East households will have to go in black bins from January amid plans to charge residents for garden waste recycling, admits the council.
Food recycling will formally stop next year in Cheshire East as legally authorities are not allowed to charge to collect food waste.
Government funded highways works are set to take place at major traffic light junctions in Crewe this month, says Cheshire East Council.
The aim of the roads works on the busy Nantwich Road, Gresty Road, and Edleston Road junctions is to reduce congestion.
